When the aviation industry began facing human resource challenges that included a retiring workforce, competition for skilled talent, and the need for harmonized qualifications, ICAO established the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) initiative to address them. With a mission to attract, educate, and retain skilled aviation professionals, NGAP serves an important role in supporting a sustainable global aviation system.
