In the ever-evolving threat landscape of aviation, ensuring a sustainable future involves not only technological advancements but also robust security measures. Of critical importance to the future of civil aviation, and to the international community at large, are the measures ICAO, Member States and others take to ensure the security of the air transport network. From 9-12 December 2024, aviation leaders and security experts from around the world will gather in Oman for an exciting and timely event: ICAO Security Week 2024.
Hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Sultanate of Oman at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Center, this year’s gathering marks a significant milestone as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of Annex 17 – Aviation Security, alongside ICAO’s 80th anniversary.
