Save the date for our Second Advanced Air Mobility Symposium!

218

Building on the momentum of the inaugural AAM Symposium in 2024, the Second Advanced Air Mobility Symposium (AAM 2026) will bring together regulators, industry leaders, infrastructure developers, international organizations, and innovators to explore the evolving advanced air mobility ecosystem and the steps needed to support its safe and coordinated implementation.

Advancing the global AAM dialogue

As AAM transitions from concept to early deployment, the Symposium creates a platform for not just reflecting on progress and opportunities, but for examining key challenges associated with integrating new aircraft, technologies, and operational models into existing aviation systems.

Discussions will focus on some of these key areas:

  • Governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Airspace integration and traffic management
  • Infrastructure development, including vertiports and energy systems
  • Certification and safety oversight
  • Automation, autonomy, and the evolving role of humans
  • Legal and policy considerations
  • Strategies to translate AAM vision into actionable implementation

The programme will also address progress that has been made since the AAM 2024 Call to Action. This will cover developments across certification, operations, infrastructure, and early-stage commercial applications.

A multi-stakeholder approach to implementation

Participants will be examining how States, industry, and international organizations can work together to explore how AAM developments can be aligned with global frameworks, and support interoperability, while maintaining aviation safety standards.

During the different sessions we will be exploring different AAM experiences, including lessons from United Nations operations, and emerging approaches to airspace management, automation, and system integration.

From vision to action

To advance a coordinated global approach to AAM implementation, discussions will focus on turning high-level ambitions into concrete actions. This will cover regulatory alignment, infrastructure planning, workforce readiness, and investment strategies.

The event will conclude with a forward-looking dialogue on implementation pathways and an in-flight AAM demonstration hosted by the State. We will be sharing more information, including event details and the finalized programme, over the coming months. Click the link below to get updates.
