Every three years, ICAO’s 193 Member States gather in Montréal for our General Assembly. It is an event that brings together Ministers, Directors General of Civil Aviation, and other senior officials to chart the course for the next triennium of global air transport priorities. As part of ICAO’s commitment to transparency, visibility, and global engagement during the Assembly, we publish ICAO States Today—a flagship reference document that showcases the civil aviation progress, priorities, and achievements of each ICAO Member State.
ICAO States Today 2025 offers an updated snapshot of national aviation strategies and regulatory developments, as well as insights into how States are contributing to ICAO’s strategic goals—whether through sustainable aviation policies, new infrastructure projects, digital transformation, or regional cooperation efforts. The publication also features high-level messages from ICAO leadership and key partners in the international aviation community.
Distributed in print during the Assembly and made available digitally on the ICAO website, ICAO States Today reaches thousands of aviation decision-makers across government ministries, regulatory authorities, air navigation service providers, airports, airlines, manufacturers, academic institutions, and media outlets around the world.
