SkyLive Streaming: 2019 ICAO World Aviation Forum

Welcome to the page where we will live-stream ICAO’s World Aviation Forum as it takes place at ICAO Headquarters on 23 September 2019.  Though we broadcast all of the presentations on YouTube Live with SkyLive, you can follow the broadcasts on this page by scrolling below to the event playlists.

With the theme of “Innovation in Aviation”, this year’s Forum is designed for the high-level government officials who are responsible for aviation, transport, science and technology, finance, economic planning, trade, international development and cooperation, and other key portfolios, as well as industry partners and high-tech companies.

During the Forum, it is expected that a series of interactive sessions will lead to the development of policies, business models, regulatory processes and governance that will drive innovation for sustainable aviation development. Furthermore, making frontier technologies accessible and affordable can contribute to the early realization of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals that are set in the UN 2030 Agenda and it also helps support ICAO’s No Country Left Behind (NCLB) initiative.

Make sure to catch all of the recordings – they will become available as the sessions occur. All SkyLive video presentations will be made available for on-demand viewing on this page thanks to Airports Council International (ACI) – with their support, we are able to live stream the presentations as they are taking place!

ACI is the only global trade representative of the world’s airports. Established in 1991, ACI represents the interests of airports with Governments and international organizations. They develop standards, policies and recommended practices for airports, and provide information and training opportunities to raise standards around the world. ACI advances the collective interests of, and acts as the voice of the world’s airports and the communities they serve, and promotes professional excellence in airport management and operations.

Ministers will present the outcome of the Roundtables, to which the latter two groups respond based on their experiences, short-term needs and long-term visions.
