The Ninth Regional Aviation Security Coordination Forum (RASCF/9) was conducted through a virtual online session in November 2021 due to the ongoing travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Forum was chaired and vice-chaired by Singapore and Australia respectively with secretariat support from the ICAO APAC Regional Office. It was attended by 93 participants from 19 States/Administrations and 4 aviation security partners. The ICAO Asia and Pacific Office Regional Director, Mr. Tao Ma, commenced the Forum with introductory and welcome remarks. The Forum saw a wide range of topics related to aviation security and facilitation being discussed and shared, including areas on Cybersecurity, Covid-19 Pandemic Recovery and Re-start of aviation operations, GASeP and APAC Roadmap Implementation Status (in particular as related to Security Culture), and Capacity Building and Partnership activities.
